333 Kent Street concept

1/ 4

Crone’s concept proposed a sophisticated, slender tower to maximise the desirability of urban living and luxury hotel experience within the Kent Street warehouse district that is undergoing an exciting redevelopment phase.

The design of the tower volume and facade takes into consideration the principles of the podium design to provide a contemporary, elegant composition that respects the history of the site. The building is divided into 3-by-2 clusters that are relatively independent, providing cross-ventilation to each apartment and achieving increased sunlight and views to a high percentage of apartments and suites.

The top of the building is finished with an integrated roof feature that hosts outdoor facilities for residents while concealing the building’s plant. Terracotta louvres in the roof design reference the warm and textured facades of neighbouring warehouse buildings and enhance the tripartite reading of the tower within the city skyline.
