Opera Residences is one of Sydney’s most prestigious residential towers comprising 104 bespoke apartments plus 5 retail spaces within the 20-storey development.

Crone worked closely with Tzannes and Make Architects to deliver a project that has set a new benchmark for design in this unique location and create an unparalleled level of quality and amenity for residents, visitors and the general public. With a palette of stone, concrete and glass, the distinctive and complex sculptural form of the building induces varied emotional responses when viewed from the diverse surrounding urban contexts of Circular Quay, the Opera House, Cahill Expressway and the Botanic Gardens.

The Opera Residences received Commendation for Urban Design from the AIA and a Commendation for Design Excellence from the City of Sydney Lord Mayor’s Prize for Design Excellence in 2023.
