Julian Venning is a Principal of Crone Architects with expertise in the conception, design, documentation and delivery of projects within Australia and internationally.
With 25 years of experience in award winning residential, commercial, educational and interior projects, Julian’s portfolio of work includes both local and international design with select projects realised in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and with a focus on sustainable design.
Recent work includes the design excellence competition winning schemes for Greenland’s mixed use development Park Sydney. The Array and Yarra Point towers at Yarra’s Edge, Melbourne; the Unison, Lucid and Art House towers in Brisbane; to The Finery and residences at Green Square, are among a suite of prestige residential and mixed use projects designed and delivered within Julian portfolio.
In addition to these projects Julian was instrumental in the design management of the Mirvac Leighton submission for Barangaroo South and the 71 Macquarie Street design competition to reposition this significant site. Awards include residential, education and hospitality projects of design excellence.
Julian’s focus is on our urban centres and the opportunities to reshape our built environment for the current and future condition. An opportunity for an ecological city aimed at increasing the enjoyment of living, working and life within our cities.
