Will Lakin is a Principal in Crone’s Melbourne Studio. Will has a wealth of experience in the field of Architecture and Masterplanning, Will has completed projects in Australia, England, Hong Kong and China, and was previously Managing Principal for GroupGSA and BUCHAN Architects.
Will’s expertise lies in the architecture of complex urban environments, and he thrives on the challenges of complex constraints. Will is an advocate for ‘Joined-up-thinking’, uniting social, cultural, economic and environmental goals to achieve Community Centric Cities.
As a principal Will is renowned for his collaborative approach with clients. He excels at translating their visions into reality, striking a balance between public, private and ‘cosy spaces’ His commitment to excellence and innovative thinking has earned him a reputation as an Industry leader.
In addition to his role as Principal, Will champions Crone Research Lab and oversees joint ventures with other practices and Universities. Through these initiatives, he remains at the forefront of Innovation, exploring emerging trends, and conducting research to shape the future of cities.
