A clever structural solution allowed Crone to propose an ingenious conversion of an existing 24-storey 1960s commercial tower into Sydney’s tallest residential tower at the time of completion.

The design including converting a heritage-listed 1930s Art Deco building into a hotel. Crone retained the existing structure and relocated the cores which enabled faster construction and reductions in demolition, landfill, noise and truck movements to and from the site.
