Crone worked with Council to change zoning of the site to allow a new residential tower above a commercial podium, creating a design that minimises south facing apartments to enhance amenity. Horizontal louvers emphasise the way the building curves around the corner site, opening up more apartments to views across the north shore. Inside, setback floorplates create voids for longer sight-lines and winter gardens both insulate and add touches of greenery.
