Crone was inspired by the gentle coast and lush green hillsides of Cebu to create a resort-style environment for 128 Nivel Hills.

The two curvilinear buildings not only provide unobstructed views to the Mactan channel and access to sea breezes, their pure forms also provide natural rigidity against typhoons and earthquakes common in Cebu. Projecting slabs protect the facade from severe weather, while creating an iconic form on the city skyline, recalling 60s “googie” architecture, which used curves evocative of boat forms and space travel to suggest leisure and a futuristic outlook. The project will consist of 560 apartments, a niche retail component and quality amenities including numerous pools, roof top gardens, a gymnasium and events spaces.
