400 George Street

Telstra and Lendlease engaged Crone to upgrade the foyer of 400 George Street with a striking, modern update while connecting and re-envisioning the adjacent Darrell Lea building into a Telstra Discovery Store.

Crone designed and completed the 33 level commercial tower in 1998 with consideration for the heritage structure of this prestigious address.

Crone opened up the internal space of the store, highlighting the heritage features and added a new glass awning and curved glass facade that extrudes through the roof to create a beacon for Telstra on this busy CBD intersection.
