Espace is a development of 12 spacious beachside apartments in Middle Park, Victoria.

The project mediates between a predominantly double-storey residential neighbourhood to the west and the taller apartment buildings of St Kilda to the east. It explores the essence of coastal architecture and celebrates the beach-side lifestyle. It balances the need to shelter from ocean storms, gather sun and screen the noise of the streets on sunny days, versus a desire to open up the facades to the views and the beach-side atmosphere. The ceiling hovers above the walls, creating a lightness akin to the nautical imagery of yachts and sails.
