Crone prepared the master plan for the new precinct known as ‘Honeysuckle’ as an extension of Newcastle’s CBD promoting the urban renewal of the foreshore of Newcastle Harbour.

The vision is to create a stimulating living, business and recreation environment, adding depth and dimension to the community fabric, founded on the principles of innovative design, environmental sustainability having regard to heritage, visual form and architecture. Crone has provided innovative architectural design to several sites within the Honeysuckle Precinct including the master planning and architecture of the Boardwalk, Lee Wharf and the additional sites including Hunter Water, NIB/GHD and Worth Place.
