A retail development of 15,000m² over four floors that re-introduces the winding laneways known to the city 150 years ago – in a modern contextual form.

A large laminated glass roof floats 22 metres above the main piazza protecting and naturally ventilating The Galeries. From the street, clear glazed walls are incorporated to form enticing laneways  leading toward the main piazza.

Numerous pedestrian thoroughfares allow people to connect between three of Sydney’s busiest streets through The Galeries retail. A variety of fashion stores, cafes, restaurants, open retail on the upper levels interlink with restaurant and bar incorporated into a heritage building.
